Welcome back to the Orbit crew, it's been a while!
The fourth edition of the Orbit deck sets all the new standards and carries the Orbit brand where it has never been pushed before. Many things have evolved and as always a lot of time and dedication have been incorporated into the project. The Orbit deck was originally funded by people on Kickstarter in 2015, the second edition came out in 2016, the third in mid-2017 and the fourth here in late 2017. From now on there will be 2 outputs of Orbit decks each year until 2020 when there will be the tenth and last edition. Each edition along the way will be characterized by a unique design and feeling, because each edition should bring something more than just another color.

DESIGN
Design has always been an important aspect for the Orbit brand. If you notice, the first three Orbit decks have had very few other projects competing with the central O symbol in bold. This time it was decided to change it and bring a new design. The edges were made a little thinner than before to ensure that the white line of the shuttle was visible in a "ribbon". The combination in black and white makes this deck a visual pleasure that will be difficult to overcome. This deck, just like the other Orbits, has the same duplicate wildcards, double backs and a duplicate of 8 of spades.

The fourth edition of the Orbit deck is the first in the Orbit range for a lot of things. It is the first to present Premium quality (Bee Stock). This premium tire is also crushed, which means that the cards are thinner than traditional Bee playing cards.
These cards are traditionally cut as in the third edition, to give that old school atmosphere to the cards and to ensure easy "lighthouse".

Cards are poker format.

Bentornato equipaggio dell'Orbit, è passato un po' di tempo!
La quarta edizione del mazzo Orbit stabilisce tutti i nuovi standard e porta il marchio Orbit dove non si è mai spinto prima. Molte cose si sono evolute e come sempre un sacco di tempo e dedizione sono state inserite nel progetto. Il mazzo Orbit era originariamente finanziato dalle persone su Kickstarter nel 2015, la seconda edizione uscì nel 2016, la terza a metà  2017 e la quarta qui a fine 2017. Da qui in poi ci saranno 2 uscite di mazzi Orbit ogni anno fino al 2020 quando ci sarà  la decima ed ultima edizione. Ogni edizione lungo il percorso sarà  caratterizzata da un design e un feeling unici, perchè ogni edizione dovrebbe portare qualcosa di più che semplicemente un altro colore.

DESIGN
Il design è sempre stato un aspetto importante per il marchio Orbit. Se notate, i primi tre mazzi Orbit hanno avuto pochissimi altri progetti in competizione con il simbolo O centrale in grassetto. Questa volta si è deciso di cambiarlo e portare un nuovo design. I bordi sono stati resi un po' più sottili di prima per garantire che la linea bianca della navetta fosse visibile in un "nastro". La combinazione in bianco e nero rende questo mazzo un piacere visivo che sarà  difficile superare. Questo mazzo, proprio come gli altri Orbits, ha gli stessi jolly duplicati, doppio dorso e un duplicato dell'8 di picche.

La quarta edizione del mazzo Orbit è la prima nella gamma Orbit per un sacco di cose. E' la prima a presentare la qualità  Premium (Bee Stock). Anche questo caertoncino Premium è schiacciato, il che significa che le carte sono più sottili delle tradizionali carte da gioco Bee.
Queste carte sono tradizionalmente tagliate come nella terza edizione, per conferire quell'atmosfera da vecchia scuola alle carte e per assicurare facili "faro".

These commemorative decks designed by Guy Hollingworth (with additional face artwork by Dan White) are printed on exclusive Bee Casino 825 paper and are made with a special coating to ensure the best handling.
The color of the back is the Black Smith named in honor of Marshall D. Smith the illustrator of "The Expert at the Card Table". The overall Bee like pattern is actually made up of tiny reproductions of the hands in the illustrations of the great card classic. These decks also use the original faces that were used by U.S. Playing Card Co. in 1902. These great faces have somewhat larger pips and somewhat smaller indices, which combine to create an unusually attractive face.
These cards were printed in a very limited quantity and there is no guarantee that they will be re-printed. If you need some of these to perform with, practice with, or add to your collection... this is the time to get them.
