There are different game variations "Party Dixit" for 6 to 12 players, or "Team Dixit" for 6, 8, 10 or 12 players.

Una delle caratteristiche di Dixit Odyssey è che, oltre alla versione "base" del gioco, sono descritte anche due varianti, e dunque con questa scatola è possibile fare tre diverse versioni di gioco. Breve descrizione delle Regole del Gioco Base Nel gioco base Dixit Odyssey le differenze sono minime rispetto alla versione originale di Dixit: una prima differenza è che in questo caso è possibile arrivare fino a 12 giocatori giocando in 7 o più giocatori si può tentare di indovinare indicando anche una seconda carta tra la rosa delle possibili, ed è per questo che vi sono 24 segnalini e 12 schede. In questo caso, chi riesce a indovinare la carta del Narratore avendo votato solo una carta viene premiato con 4 punti invece dei consueti 3 punti i punti premio che un giocatore che non sia il Narratore può guadagnare grazie ai voti ricevuti dai giocatori avversari sono al massimo 3, anche nel caso in cui i voti ricevuti siano in numero maggiore la partita non finisce quando finiscono le 84 carte, ma quando un giocatore raggiunge i 30 punti.
