En una casa oscura y triste, cada sonido enva un escalofro a travs de los huesos. Una puerta se abre - es alguien ah? Se oye susurros, pero nadie responde cuando llame. Tus ojos y los odos pueden engaarte, pero el pelo en el cuello te dice lo que ya sabes: hay fantasmas aqu - y no slo uno de estos espritus son legin. En Geister, Geister, Schatzsuchmeister!, Cuatro intrpidos cazadores de tesoros estn en una bsqueda, la bsqueda de preciosas joyas escondidas, pero los fantasmas en esta casa no se rinda su botn fcilmente. A medida que crecen sus nmeros macabros, los cazadores de tesoros deben trabajar juntos para adquirir las ocho joyas y escapar de la casa antes de que sea totalmente embrujada o bien se enfrentan a su propia muerte horripilante. Los jugadores tiran los dados para determinar cuntos espacios se mueven en este turno y si un nuevo fantasma se agrega a la tabla. Los jugadores pueden moverse hasta el nmero de espacios que se muestran en la matriz. Si terminan su movimiento en un espacio con un tesoro, que pueden recogerlo y colocarlo en su mochila. Si terminan su movimiento en un espacio con un fantasma, se pelean ese fantasma haciendo rodar una pelea a morir. Si ruedan el smbolo correspondiente, eliminan el fantasma del tablero de juego. Si los jugadores tienen que aadir un tercer fantasma a una habitacin, se transforma en una obsesin. Un inquietante falta al menos dos personas en la habitacin para intentar una pelea con l. Los jugadores ganan si pueden conseguir los ocho tesoros y todo su equipo fuera de la casa; pierden si las seis apariciones en el tablero.

Players may move up to the number of spaces shown on the die. If they end their movement in a space with a treasure, they may pick it up and place it in their backpack. If they end their movement in a space with a ghost, they fight that ghost by rolling a fight die. If they roll the matching symbol, they remove the ghost from the game board.If the players must add a third ghost to a room, it transforms into a haunting. A haunting requires at least two people in the room to attempt a fight with it.
