Un juego de Monopoly similar, en la que los magnates de hoteles tratan de comprar y construir los mejores hoteles en el mundo y competir por los clientes. El juego est dirigido dos a cuatro jugadores, edades ocho en adelante. Un juego promedio dura unos 90 minutos. Los jugadores tratan de comprar y construir los mejores hoteles en este juego, ganando la mayor cantidad de dinero o la quiebra a sus oponentes. Un hotel exitoso existe fuera de tres componentes: la tierra est construida sobre los edificios del hotel y las entradas por la que los huspedes llegan a los hoteles. Los tres componentes deben ser comprados por separado con el dinero en el juego. Al igual que en el Monopoly, el dinero se gana por los jugadores que terminan en una de las entradas de los hoteles, despus de su tirada de dados. El ms lujoso hotel, el ms dinero que un cliente le har ganar. El dinero se puede utilizar para crear extensiones a sus hoteles existentes, la compra de nuevas entradas o pagar a otros jugadores al llegar a sus hoteles. El juego consta de cartn, edificios del hotel en tres dimensiones, unos jardines y escaleras de entrada que se pueden colocar en el gran tablero de juego. Al igual que en el Monopoly, que se juega con dinero del juego de papel.

First published as Hotels, Hotel Tycoon is a Monopoly-like game, in which hotel tycoons try to buy and build the best hotels in the world and compete for guests. The game caters two to four players, ages eight and up. An average game lasts about 90 minutes. Players try to buy and build the best hotels in this game, earning the most money or bankrupting their opponents. A successful hotel exists out of three components: the land it is built on, the hotel buildings and the entrances by which guests arrive in the hotels. All three components need to be bought separately with in-game money. Like in Monopoly, money is earned by players who end up on one of the entrances of your hotels, after their dice roll. The more luxurious the hotel, the more money a guest will earn you. Money you can use to build extensions to your existing hotels, buying new entrances or pay other players when you arrive at their hotels. The game consists out of cardboard, three-dimensional hotel buildings, recreational grounds and entrance stairs that can be placed on the large gameboard. Just like in Monopoly, it is played with paper game money.
